Part 1. Research and Benchmarking

Researched W3C landmark guidelines alongside benchmarking leading design systems and products to understand real-world implementations. Synthesized standards and patterns into actionable recommendations for the enterprise context, aligning teams on best-fit approaches while identifying areas for further exploration.

Part 2. User Research and Co-Design

Conducted user interviews with assistive technology users including one voice recognition user and two screen reader users to understand their experiences with landmark navigation and alternative methods such as heading navigation. Translated insights into co-design sessions with designers and developers, collaboratively exploring solutions, validating assumptions, and refining approaches to better support accessible navigation.
